July 10, 2024, 10:00 AM IST: All you wannabe high-fliers in finance, listen up! If you’re planning to take the RBI Grade B exam, you must know that the notification date has been confirmed. Don’t rub your eyes, you’re not seeing things; I really did just say that! The Department of Communication (DoC) has announced that the notification for recruitment to the posts of Grade B General (DR), DEPR, and DSIM will be published on July 18, 2024 .

Once the notification is released, you’ll be able to check the application dates, exam dates, eligibility, pattern, and other important information.
What to Expect from the Notification?
The notification will be available on the official website of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), i.e., rbi.org.in , and in leading newspapers. The tender notice has already been released, stating that the release of the advertisement in the newspaper is likely to commence from July 18, 2024.
RBI Grade B Exam Date 2024
The exam date for Phase 1 will be announced through the official notification. The country will be divided into several exam centers for the big day. Paper 1 will be conducted through online negative marking, consisting of 30 objective questions and 4 descriptive-type questions.

RBI Grade B Salary 2024
Selected candidates will get a starting basic pay of Rs. 55,200/-p.m. in the pay scale of Rs. 55200-2850(9)-80850-EB-2850 (2) – 86550-3300(4)-99750 (16 years). At present, initial monthly gross emoluments (without HRA) are Rs. 1,16,914/- (approximately).
